Bio
Official Bio 1 (reuse of original King Hssss figure's bio):
A servant of the Unnamed One, Hssss was chosen to lead an army of Snake Men to the planet of Eternia to plunder its magical secrets. He ruled Eternia for three centuries until a rebellion formed under DVann Grayskull. Soon afterwards, the Horde invaded and Hssss was drawn into a three-way war. All three sides agreed to a temporary truce in order to construct the Three Towers, but Hssss was betrayed by Hordak and in time was banished to the Void by the Elders and Zodak. For five centuries he and his army waited until Evil-Lyn and a Snake Men descendent named Kobra Khan opened the Snake Pit to free them. King Hssss often tricks foes by appearing heroic but then transforms into a seething mass of serpents and leads the Snake Men into battle.
Official Bio 2 (released later during Masters Mondays):
During his exile in the Void, King Hssss led the Snake Men in profane devotional rituals. Using the Staff of Ka, Hssss invoked the combined power of his evil deities to transform himself into a serpentine demigod. Fearing that Hssss would breach the confines of the Void, the Council of Elders called upon He-Ra, protector of the Power Sword and granddaughter of both King Grayskull and He-Ro, to retrieve the Staff of Ka from the dreaded Void. Cleverly avoiding battle in that murky realm, He-Ra outwitted the serpentine King Hssss and stole the Staff from him. He-Ra returned the Staff of Ka to Eternia, where it eventually fell into obscurity. Deprived of the Staff, Hssss few strands of human DNA slowly resurfaced and returned his appearance to a normal, albeit slightly altered version of his human form.
