Once trapped within the Underworld, these warriors were slaves to Hades. The God of Olympus tasked Hercules to free these mighty creatures from their prison. Zeus knew that the legendary hero needed the help of the beasts in order to close the gates of chaos. Many chose to help, while some stayed in the Underworld to serve their dark master.
